What you have in your hands was recorded by the inimitable Dave Sloan (Bitterman) at the Fishtank in Portsmouth. They arrived at 2pm, started slowly setting up, micing up the gear and by 10pm all the music and the vocals had been done. They recorded the music live then overdubbed the vocals. This might sound easy, but because they are so used to the singing they managed to fuck up some of the songs with as many as 4 takes required. No second guitar. They wanted something raw and immediate. And they feel that is what they've got. They reckon they did pretty good to record an album in 8 hours.
